While our sites are young and don’t yet have strong page or domain authority (yet), we are seeing our pages show up on page 1 of Google here and there. However, taking a look at some searches and SERP results thus far in our short history, I have noticed that our Kansas City Google+ page is ranking quickly for a number of keywords related to articles that we have published. If you haven’t done it yet, create a Google+ page for your business – and actively push content to it.

At Blogger Local, our reporters automatically post their pieces to our Kansas City Facebook, Twitter and Google+ pages. We have created a very powerful system, and our reporters love it! From a social standpoint, I still see Facebook as king, but from an SEO point of view, Google+ really has a lot of value and is something every business should utilize.
