Launch Your Own Blogger Local City and Make Money Blogging

This is a recording of Kevin Downey presenting to a group by teleconference, discussing Blogger Local’s national program for bloggers who want to launch their own Blogger Local site.

Hi, this is Kevin Downey, principal investor and founder, one of the founders, of bloggerlocal.com, and I welcome you to visiting our website. I’m going to do a little piece here about our program for bloggers. Those of you who are doing a search maybe for Make Money Blogging or Make a Living Blogging, we have a program for you that you’ll absolutely love. You’ll have the ability to create your own client base, have your own blog in your own city, a city that you can expand to employ a lot of people and make a lot of money without the headaches of ever having to bill a client, collect credit cards, process credit cards, or own your own big business. You don’t have the headaches of owning a business. You can just operate the blog in your city and literally, all by yourself, make a six-figure income. It’s a wonderful program, so again, welcome to bloggerlocal.com. We’re excited to have you here.

Depending upon when you visit us, we are still in beta and doing some ongoing testing. We’re going to launch our national program sometime in the fourth quarter of 2013, and if you’re interested in launching Blogger Local in your city and it is available, we welcome you to contact us. We would love to hear from you. It’s an absolutely wonderful program, and again, you can give us a call, 913-402-6020. My name is Kevin Downey, and I am the Vice-President of Business Development for bloggerlocal.com.

A little bit about our program, some of the details. We give you your own Blogger Local city, so you have … For example, we have KansasCity.bloggerlocal.com. Whatever that city is, if it is open, you have the ability to apply to retain that city as an independent contractor. We do negotiate everything as independent contractors. You’re not a franchisee. It is not a business opportunity. In addition to your own city at bloggerlocal.com and your own subdomain, you’re going to have the backup of a huge national website with great traffic, strong page authority, national presence. We provide all of the hosting for your subdomain site, which we give you a full access to and really freedom and control. However, we always maintain control over the overall site and all the subdomain sites to make sure that they constantly run properly, that there’s consistency from city to city, and from a branding standpoint, your Blogger Local city site is going to look the same as all of the others in the country.

Again, we do all of the billing for you. It is all processed from Blogger Local Corporate, and you don’t have to bill any client. You never have to collect credit-card information. You never have to collect money. The only time we might ask you to interface with a client on that kind of subject is if we are unable to get a hold of them and you maintain that they are a good client, then we’re going to ask you to get involved and help us out on the collecting process or at least getting updated credit-card information.

In addition to the credit-card processing, we obviously pay all credit-card processing fees, and you really do have … I think one of the greatest things about our program for bloggers and for reporters is you have the ability to run your blog from nothing more than a laptop. We highly recommend that you utilize an Air Book or a MacBook Pro, but really you can use any PC-based laptop if you like. But you can really run the whole program from a laptop and nothing more than that and do all of your reporting, your interviews, your posting, and even push everything out using the program we use underneath our site, Snap, to push out to your social-media sites. It’s really a great program. You don’t have to worry about having to come back and work on another computer or upload things. Everything is right there available for you with a laptop and a WiFi connection.

We also offer complete training on how to create content for both readers and search engines, which is extremely important and part of the basis of our program. Then we also do, obviously, complete training on site for our website and posting to your city’s page and how to use it, how to report, how to run your route, how to find clients, and all of those things. And so we send one of our executives in to work with you for the first week just to do training and open up the program for you and get you going and help you out with the basic process of getting clients, which really isn’t that hard.

Then, finally, you have the freedom to determine your own schedule. Remember you are an independent contractor, and while we are paying you a percentage, you really do have the freedom to determine your own schedule and your own income. Getting 75% of the revenue from the city website, you have the ability to work as much or as little as you want. Of course, we do have expectations of production, but at the end of the day, you do have the freedom to run your own schedule. You can go on vacation when you want and so forth.

Anyway, if you’re interested in our program, you want to get started, you can contact me personally. Again, I’m Kevin Downey, Vice-President of Business Development at Blogger Local, and my phone number is 913-402-6020. If you would like literature or want to download more information, head over to our website, and the page is called Launch Blogger Local in Your City. If you click on that page and fill out the little form and you can upload your resume, which we do need to look at for all prospective applicants, and then you can get some more information that you can download. Anyway, thanks for checking in today, and I appreciate you reviewing our information. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us. Again, this is Kevin Downey at Blogger Local, and I’m checking out, and have a good one.
